SELF DEFENCE

Self defence training is aimed at all individuals who are interested in essential aspects of modern self defence. These sessions can take place either in the comfort of your own home or in a gym environment (Balham or Deptford).

 

Whether you're an experienced martial artist or a complete beginner, I aim to deliver a personalised session to your individual needs with patience, compassion, and understanding. Having studied numerous martial arts for over 30+ years, I am able to tailor my understanding to suit an individual's needs, goals, capabilities, and mindset, facilitating quicker student development. My approach caters to physical and Mental well-being, self-protection and Combat sports.
 

In each sessin we will focus on both the physical and psychological elements of self-defence.

- Close-range speed and power development, employing the use of weaponry, striking, and grappling.

- Stability of mind and body in high-stress situations.

- Sharpen awareness of self.

- Learn one’s physiological reactions to stress: fight, flight, freeze or fawn.

- Develop sharper intuition.
